Electronic Filing

Electronic filing is a method of transmitting your tax return information directly to the IRS. Electronic filing, or e-filing, increases the speed, security and accuracy of filing your tax return. It also helps you get your refund faster. A federal refund filed electronically can be received in as little as 10 days (not including bank refund loan products, which can sometime be received in minutes). Compare this to the average refund for a mailed return, which can take anywhere from six to eight weeks! We encourage all of our customers to file their returns electronically, though you are by no means obligated to do so.
